Heidelberg Materials is seeking a qualified Digital Engagement Lead to join our team in Irving, Texas.

This role will advocate and drive customer value through Heidelberg Materials’ key digital initiatives and implementations. This role will focus on our existing customer-facing technology, enhancing the user experience, supporting regular maintenance/improvement of our digital tools, and fostering collaboration across global and local markets. This position requires exceptional soft skills and a passion for keeping organized, as you will interact with diverse teams and manage multiple tasks.

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Collaboration and Value Building:

  • Global and Local Collaboration: Act as the point person for both local markets and global teams, fostering collaboration and communication.

  • Digital Community Sessions: Plan and host regular sessions for customer-facing employees across management units and business lines of North America to deepen their skill and willingness for the customer adoption of technology, involving other IT resources as necessary.

  • Global Community Sessions: Attend global sessions, including monthly global collaboration calls with other countries and bi-weekly meetings with product owners to shape where the product is going and report on implementation progress.

  • User Experience (UX) and Feedback:

  • UX Research: Identify users/customers for UX research projects and facilitate research events, calls, and activities across the NAM time zones.

  • Feedback Collection: Continuously gather feedback from internal and external customers, categorizing and addressing it accordingly.

  • Customer Tech. Support:

  • First Line of Defense: Embed sustainable and secure support processes; enable local businesses on how to assist their customers with issues and questions best.

  • Host regular training sessions for customer-facing employees.

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Represent NAM in regular UAT meetings: execute test plans, raise defects, and report to stakeholders.

  • Marketing and Communication:

  • Stakeholder Communication: Identify communication needs of relevant stakeholder groups and create supporting materials.

  • Campaigns: Launch regular campaigns to retain and reengage the customer user base, boosting their awareness and excitement for new or existing features in the technology.

  • Resource Maintenance: Maintain and update external-facing marketing resources with the support of Marketing Department.

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 1-3 years of business experience; preferably related to growth, marketing, digital, customer experience, change management, and other transformation topics that boost the performance of companies.

  • Obsession for customer value: a deep curiosity, care, and understanding of our customers’ needs and challenges.

  • Process Mindset: Ability to think about how each step affects the bigger picture.

  • Adaptability: Openness to change and flexibility in approach.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, Confluence, and Jira.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience or interest in the heavy building materials industry a strong plus.

  • Strong interest in how to incorporate AI tools in your job to boost your personal productivity and your team’s productivity and value.

  • A strong sense of patience and the ability to remain positive under pressure.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to navigate complex organizational structures and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management and leadership through influence.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
