Job Description

Job Summary

The Operations Analytics Manager will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting operations data, analyzing trends and providing insights in order to make and recommend sound decisions. This individual will be responsible for leading administration of one or more operational business units (e.g., Dealer Operations or Servicing), establishing policies and procedures, reporting, and analyses to improve business outcomes. This position will work closely with the Director of Business Strategy & Analytics and business leaders to identify and deliver information that will enable our organization to produce more informed operating decisions.

Job Duties

  • Lead a team of 1 or more Analysts focused on collecting and analyzing data from various resources, providing business insights to business partners.

  • Collaborate with business unit leadership to understand business objectives, share reporting, provide updates & feedback, and prioritize critical activities to maximize productivity.

  • Manage Target setting and tracking for incentive plans.

  • Design and update metrics, reports, and presentation materials that are used by senior leadership, including the Board of Directors.

  • Build, execute and monitor processes for assigned business unit(s). Drive continuous improvement of program deliverables in order to meet and exceed quality outcomes.

  • Create and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting to the Executive team. Provide clarity as needed on program direction and aid in removing obstacles, creating accountability for performance and results.

  • Propose improvements to business operations by assessing current performance and recommending changes.

  • Ensure compliance with Exeter’s policies & procedures, safety, state and federal laws, regulations, and standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

  • College Degree in Economics, Math/Statistics, Finance, Engineering or similar discipline, or equivalent work experience.

  • Six (6) or more years of experience in business analytics; Automobile lending and/or originations experience is preferred

  • One (1) or more year(s) of management experience.

  • Ability to use appropriate analysis, judgment, and logic when solving issues, providing recommendations and making decisions.

  • Ability to apply industry knowledge and critical thinking skills while solving day-to-day problems.

  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Excel, SQL and SAS.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to understand business requirements.

  • Able to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision and be self-motivated

  • High competency with reporting tools and metrics.

Compensation Information

Salary Range: $97,100 - $133,550

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
