We are looking for a DevSecOps Architect to join our team of experts in delivering and supporting a major enterprise commerce platform. You will be responsible for helping support and refine end-to-end continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, configuration management and infrastructure as code, and cloud security best practices. You will also lead and collaborate with multiple functional and/or technical teams in an Agile environment, and communicate effectively with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

responsibilities:

Required Skills -

• 15+ years of DevOps and/or relevant industry experience.

• Experience as an architect across software engineering and DevOps in production in at least one major public cloud, but Azure Experience preferred

• Experience working with CI/CD and automation (for example: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab Runners, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines), configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).

• Ability to lead and collaborate across multiple functional and/or technical teams in an Agile environment

Job Duties -

• Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines that enable fast and reliable delivery of software products

• Apply configuration management and infrastructure as code principles to automate and standardize the provisioning and management of cloud resources

• Ensure that cloud security best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle and the cloud infrastructure

• Lead and collaborate with multiple functional and/or technical teams to deliver software engineering and DevOps solutions for clients

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members

Job Requirements -

• Experience working with CI/CD and automation (for example: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab Runners, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines), configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).

• Ability to lead and collaborate across multiple functional and/or technical teams in an Agile environment

• Knowledge of fundamental cloud security concepts such as identity and access management, firewalls, encryption, etc.

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization.

• Experience with DevOps and Agile standards and practices.

Desired Skills & Experience -

• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies quickly and ing them to solve practical business problems

• Ability to lead and collaborate across multiple functional and/or technical teams in an Agile environment

• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead conversations with clients on a business level and translate their needs into technical solutions

Internal Notes -The role is CTH.

This is a director-level role; the candidate will oversee the delivery team. HOWEVER, and very importantly, this candidate must be technical, able to understand the code, and willing to get their "hands dirty" if needed.
