Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Irving, Texas

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Irving, Texas. The selected candidate will be working closely with various teams such as Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to analyze and provide insights for current business needs and future strategies. This role involves the analysis and interpretation of financial and operational data, developing forecasting tools, and providing data-driven recommendations to management.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze historical and current financial data to help in establishing standard pricing models.

• Use industry-specific research and available data to predict and monitor market trends.

• Collaborate with managers to develop and consolidate the organizational budget.

• Support budget recommendations with data and evidence-based analyses.

• Automate financial data analysis by developing forecasting tools.

• Identify gaps in processes to improve profit margins.

• Guide cost analysis processes, providing trends and forecasts, and recommending actions.

• Develop predictive financial models, including scenario analyses, to support organizational decision making.

• Enhance financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.

• Draft timely written reports to help management teams make strategic decisions to meet business goals.

• Monitor current financial data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Business Systems is required.

• Experience with budget processes is necessary.

• Must be an expert in Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to develop financial models is essential.

• Must be able to perform trend analysis.

• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is required.

• Proficiency in using data analysis tools is necessary.

• Experience with Domo is a plus.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively.

• Must have a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation is a plus.
