Job Summary

Supply Chain Lead Data Analyst is responsible for timely and accurate analytics to support the Supply Chain department. Provides guidance to other data analysts within Supply Chain. This individual works closely with category managers and leadership to maintain accurate visibility of spend, categorization, materials management, savings and other analytics through use of various reporting systems. We rely on this position to provide subject matter expertise on reporting systems (i.e. Tableau, SQL, Alteryx etc.), the individual utilizes analytics solutions to transform raw data into actionable business insights.

Overview

Supply Chain Lead Data Analyst is responsible for timely and accurate analytics to support the Supply Chain department. Provides guidance to other data analysts within Supply Chain. This individual works closely with category managers and leadership to maintain accurate visibility of spend, categorization, materials management, savings and other analytics through use of various reporting systems. We rely on this position to provide subject matter expertise on reporting systems (i.e. Tableau, SQL, Alteryx etc.), the individual utilizes analytics solutions to transform raw data into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance & mentor other data analysts within Supply Chain.

  • Ownership of savings validations process. Soliciting submissions from category teams, validating entries, preparing monthly reports, and presenting to leadership.

  • Facilitate analysis of spend data with category teams by providing accurate and timely reports.

  • Maintain and create various Tableau workbooks and Alteryx workflows.

  • Leverage Business Intelligence tools to conduct complex data analytics to support the sourcing, procurement, materials management and supplier diversity functions.

  • Develop ad hoc reports to meet one-time and evolving information needs in an efficient and consistent manner.

  • Provide supporting documentation as needed for various SOX compliance reports.

  • Collaborate with Technology Services (IT) to deliver relevant analytics.

  • Ability to build trust and relationships with internal business, Supply Chain leadership and Executives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of directly related, increasingly complex work experience.

  • Strong data analysis skills.

  • Technical advanced knowledge of functional and reporting systems with 5+ years of experience (i.e. Ariba, Maximo, Peoplesoft, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)

  • Passion and expertise in data mining to deliver optimum business outcomes.

  • Ability to adapt to complex Supply Chain issues where an analysis of statistical, commercial or technical data is required.

  • Strong written and oral communication; ability to negotiate and persuade others .

  • Advanced Microsoft office capabilities (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).

Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to the above requirements
