Position Summary:

* Must have previous experience in a District Leadership role *

This is a hybrid position in the NY Metro Area

As the EILEEN FISHER District Leader, you are responsible for all aspects of leading your district consistent with the ELEEN FISHER practices and values. Success in this role manifests by way of positive revenue growth across the district, ensuring the best possible customer experience in stores, and focused development of both store leaders and store teams to best support the needs of the business. You will actively support our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion values and demonstrate a commitment to Sustainability.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive Sales, Profitability and Margin Growth

o Manage your district’s business by proactively using weekly and monthly reports, assessing current trends and identifying themes consistently across the district.

o Identify key opportunities around product assortment by knowing your customer and understanding what feedback from stores is essential to be shared with DTC Partners.

o Ensure that all leaders are current and up to date with information from DTC, product knowledge, current key messages, and wardrobing tools.

o Interpret key store metrics and understand how each impacts the overall profitability and health of each store.

• Customer Engagement

o Set a high expectation that all store associates warmly welcome, engage, inspire and delight each customer by providing outstanding and seamless customer experiences on a consistent basis.

o Utilize CRM and GAGE consistently in all stores to ensure follow- up with each customer in a manner that feels genuine and authentic to EILEEN FISHER.

• Merchandise Presentation

o Ensure that the in-store visual merchandising is reflecting the standards of the brand.

o Work with key DTC Partners to advocate for unique needs in the district and also provide feedback on needs that are consistent across markets.

• Inventory and Store Operations

o Ensure compliance of all systems and procedures with regards to inventory flow including Clothing Allowance, POS, receiving, transfers, damages, donations, etc.

o Strive to come in under, or to meet, the Company’s annual shrink benchmark and ensure non-performing stores are doing all they can to trend towards meeting the benchmark.

o Know your stock levels and needs across the district and facilitate transfers (in/out) according to the needs of the business.

• Recruitment and Employee Relations

o Ensure stores have bench strength for future leadership and associate needs within the district.

o Coach and facilitate difficult conversations as needed with regards to job performance.

• Communication

o Responsible for consistent and effective communication with Store Leaders within the district to ensure their understanding of company initiatives, including strategic objectives, current projects and on-going initiatives and task forces.

o Develop and maintain a plan to encourage the sharing of best practices across the district.

PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED.

Required SkillsRequired Experience

Education:

B.A. in related area preferred. May be offset by experience.

• 5+ years of multi-tiered retail management required

• Exhibit excellent strategic leadership, partnership and organizational skills.

• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change.

• Possess the ability to identify opportunities around product needs to best support the needs of the district and business.

• Possess the ability to work remotely while also being a part of a team.

• Passionate about nurturing a positive and supportive work environment.

Supervises: Leaders within the district

Reports to: Director of Stores

Has Contact With: All DTC partners

The hiring salary range for this role is $120,000- $130,000/yr. dependent upon experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer competitive benefits including a generous clothing allowance and a wellness reimbursement program.
