Robert Half is searching for a well-organized, reliable, and empathetic Patient Registration Coordinator to join our Fortune 50 healthcare client. As a Patient Registration Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the patient’s journey, from the first point of contact to the completion of their healthcare experience. This Patient Registration Coordinator opening is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity. This is an on-site opportunity in Irwin, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the patient registration process by acquiring and entering necessary demographic and health insurance information into the system.

• Coordinate appointments, procedures, and treatments ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operation; answer patient inquiries pertaining to the services, procedures, and schedule of appointments.

• Maintain strict privacy and confidentiality of patient records and information.

• Verify patient’s insurance coverage and benefits; inform patients of their financial responsibilities as necessary.

• Cooperate with and assist medical staff to enhance the quality of patient services.

  Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

• Proven experience in a similar role in a healthcare setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.

• Strong organization and multitasking skills.

• Proficient knowledge of medical software systems; experience with Meditech is a plus.

• Knowledge of medical terminologies.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
