SanMar Sr Software Developer in Issaquah, Washington

At SanMar, the work you do makes a difference. What's the Short Version? The Sr Software Developer is a technical practitioner on our collaborative software development team. The role is responsible for translating requirements into software designs, developing Salesforce software and helping define SanMar's software development practices. This role also maintains awareness of emerging and evolving technologies that can assist SanMar in reaching its business goals. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including sales teams and IT leadership, to deliver scalable and efficient solutions within the Salesforce platform. What Will You Be Doing? Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce applications, features, components, and functionalities using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Sales technologies. Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications using REST, SOAP, and other integration protocols. Customize Salesforce features and functionalities to enhance user experience and meet business requirements. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junction developers to ensure high-quality code and best practices. Work in all aspects of development, design, reviews, troubleshooting and post-production issue resolution Develop and design extracts and reports as needed. Stay updated on emerging database technologies, best practices, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. What Are We Looking For? BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related/equivalent experience. 4-6 years Salesforce development, with a strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce APIs, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce CLI. Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, and third-party integration tools. Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce design, architecture and normalization. Salesforce Platform Developer I and II, App Builder, or Salesforce Architect certifications preferred. Ability to successfully work in a collaborative team environment and independently. Demonstrated cross-functional expertise and the ability to thrive in a highly complex environment. Able to simultaneously manage multiple assignments and have strong organizational skills. Applies best practices when enhancing and developing applications. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Superior problem-solving abilities. Experience in Agile-styled software development and large-scale projects. What's Our Offer? Salary Range: Youll earn between $120,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experience. Bonus: Youll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.
