Description

We are seeking IT Support Specialists to join our team in Ithaca, New York. The focus of this role is to provide advanced support through in-depth knowledge of hardware, systems, and software. This role involves identifying and resolving user issues, escalating complex issues when necessary, and ensuring that hardware and software systems function optimally.

Responsibilities:

• Deeply analyze user issues to identify root causes and provide solutions

• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware and software to address user inquiries

• Manage hardware configurations, installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting

• Effectively deploy software upgrades and manage software deployments

• Track inventory of hardware and software resources

• Escalate complex issues to specialized support resources or network resources when needed

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and actions taken

• Conduct regular checks and maintenance on systems hardware

• Assist in the management of database systems and configuration management processes

• Participate in the deployment of desktop hardware and PC hardware systems.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Help Desk Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficient in Database management and Computer Hardware.

• Experience in Configuration Management and Deployments.

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware and Hardware & Software Installation.

• Ability to perform Hardware configuration, Hardware Installation, and Hardware Troubleshooting.

• Knowledge in conducting Hardware Upgrades and managing Systems hardware.

• Proficiency in Troubleshooting Hardware and handling PC Hardware.

• Capability to execute Software Upgrades and Software Deployment.
