Job Title: Steward (Dishwasher) Job Description: Benchmark BD Management LLC, dba Black Desert Resort, is looking to fill Steward (Dishwasher) positions in Ivins, Utah. This is a temporary, full-time peakload position and we are looking to fill 12 job openings for employment from October 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025. No education or experience required. Duties: Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas including floors, walls, and storage areas. Manage inventory of all cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is in working order. Follow sanitation and safety policies and procedures. Assist kitchen and culinary staff as needed by preparing basic food items and/or expediting food delivery. Manage waste and ensure sorting and disposal are in line with resort sustainability policies. Assist in setting up for events, banquets, and other special occasions. Requirements: Must be willing to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to stand for entire shift. Terms and Conditions of Employment: At least $16.00/hr, at least 35hrs/wk, Mon-Sun, 5:00 A.M to 2:00 A.M. (schedule, hours and shifts vary). Overtime is available as needed. Overtime rate of pay is at least $24.00/hr. Transportation: If worker completes 50 percent of employment period, employer will reimburse worker for transportation and subsistence (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) from place from which worker has come to work, whether in U.S. or abroad, to place of employment. Upon completion of full employment period or when worker is dismissed by employer earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to place where worker originally departed to work, except when worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Tools, equipment and supplies: Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Miscellaneous: Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Pay period is every two weeks. Employer will make all payroll deductions required by law. If applicable, employer will reimburse H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other fees mandated by the government. Limited optional housing is available at $500-$700 per month. With employee's voluntary consent, housing will be deducted from paycheck. Employer will provide partial uniform.
