Duties & Responsibilities: As a participant in the Wealth Management Program, you will be exposed to all facets of the Wealth Management Unit and will be assigned to various departments for periods of time in rotation to gain a working understanding of the operations of each area as well as their contribution to Trustmark as a whole and their relationship to our customers. A longer placement in an area that you might have an interest in may also be possible. Interns will be assigned a project on a relevant topic to some facet of wealth management that you will complete during your internship; the project will require a written and oral presentation component to selected managers from Wealth Management; if the internship is being sought for coursework credit, we will work with their college to design the project and output in a fashion that satisfies the college's requirements for the same. A possible career path for a Development Associate is to move into entry-level positions such as Account Administrator in Personal Trust, junior Financial Consultant with TFS or Analyst with TIA. Our approach would be to explore your interest and skill set during the Internship so we could target a permanent placement by position and line of business.

Requirements

: Earned a bachelor's degree or master's degree in business, Accounting, or Human Resources a minimum GPA of 3.0.

 Scheduled to graduate on or before June 2025. Prior experience with Excel with an ability to learn Pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.

 Detail oriented, organized, analytical and demonstrated problem solving abilities.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to handle complex projects with a sense of urgency, adaptability to change, innovation, tech savvy and results oriented. Internship or prior work experience a plus. Enthusiasm and genuine interest in developing a career with Trustmark and the financial industry
