Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join their Nuclear Engineering department. This individual will be responsible for leading electrical project teams for commercial nuclear facilities. The design could include selection, sizing, and layout of electrical systems and components found in mission-critical applications, design for MCCs, switchgear layouts, control rooms, electrical room layouts, conduit/cable schedules/layouts, wiring design, one-line diagrams, schematics, low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution, motor control design, and DCS/PLC system design. Additionally, they will be responsible for coordinating design teams/efforts, conducting client meetings, coordinating with project managers to develop proposals/estimates, and assisting in project bids.

Skills and Requirements

-8-10 Years of direct experience doing electrical design for nuclear facilities (commerical, DOE, etc)

-Project Management experience

-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to different client sites within the region

-BA degree in Electrical Engineering - PE License null
