Six Flags Public Safety Supervisor - EMS in Jackson, New Jersey

Job Summary: The Public Safety Supervisor - EMS will be held responsible for ensuring the medical care of all Guests and Employees. The Public Safety Supervisor - EMS will also oversee the EMTs at both the Theme Park and Water Park. By interacting not only with the EMTs, you will be working closely with the Safety Coordinators and other Supervisors from various departments in both the Theme Park and Water Park; there will be occasions that you will have to work alone in a medical or customer service aspect.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Will follow all rules of an EMT.

  • Will direct and communicate tasks and directions to the EMTs.

  • Will be responsible for all recruiting, interviewing, and training of new EMTs.

  • Will be responsible for issuing any disciplinary actions.

  • Will conduct performance reviews of EMTs.

  • Will be responsible for handling any tasks (Scheduling, Quality Assurance, Supplies, etc.) deemed by Management.

  • Have minimal knowledge of all Microsoft applications.

  • Will be responsible for the management of guest complaints and complaint resolution in person or through the Guest Services system Salesforce.

  • Will communicate with other Six Flags Department Management for information on park operations.

  • Must meet the minimum requirement of thirty (30) hours a week. This includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays for all non-operational, partial, and full operating days for Hurricane Harbor and the Theme Park.

  • Must ensure compliance with all New Jersey State Department of Health protocols

  • Will attend and complete all leadership training as required by Six Flags or directed by Management.

The Ideal Candidate Must Possess:

  • MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS

  • Must be 21 years of age.

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License

  • Must possess a valid New Jersey State or National Registry EMT Certification

  • Must possess a valid CPR Certification

  • Must have a minimum of one year experience in the Six Flags Safety Dept. or within the Park.

  • Must possess ICS 100, 200 (In person), 700, 800, CEVO
