Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Support the manufacturing areas with a focus on minimizing downtime, increasing productivity, and maintaining the overall Toyota Production System as well as company policies/procedures.

Hard Skills

• Maintaining hydraulic equipment (including metal presses)

• Daily scheduling of documents

• PLC knowledge (experience logging in, no editing)

• Reading industrial electrical schematics

• Understanding of servo motion

• Knowledge of assembly of complex equipment

• Preventative maintenance on all equipment

Soft Skills

• Offering suggestions for counter measures for Kaizen activities

• Good interpersonal skills

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Jackson, Tennessee.

Work Environment

2nd shift hours are Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with potential for early or late overtime and weekend work. Typically working 50-60 hours per week. Uniforms provided (Steel Toe Shoes, Long sleeve shirt, Long pants, and ball cap). Hearing protection and safety glasses required on the plant floor. Temperature-controlled automotive manufacturing facility, loud but clean and organized production area.
