We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in a 6-month project role. In this role, you will provide critical support to leadership and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and facilitating effective communication within the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of office procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

salary: $21 - $23 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to faculty and Center staff, including maintaining calendars, managing files, handling email communications, preparing reports, ordering supplies, tracking inventory, and performing other essential administrative tasks for the Center.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for experts and Center Directors, collaborating with the Division's travel and expense manager to ensure timely processing of travel expenses, while adhering to budgetary guidelines.

  • Assist the Center in organizing events, meetings, and think tanks by scheduling rooms, arranging necessary equipment, coordinating catering services, and managing event-related budgets.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
