Our client, a leader in the specialty construction industry, is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager. We're looking for a self-motivated, results-driven individual to oversee our business operations and to develop and implement effective strategies and programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of business functions, strong budgeting and finance abilities, and proven leadership qualities. Candidate MUST have Construction Management, Field Supervision, or Superintendent experience within a Construction Setting. MUST have previous experience managing large teams.   • Over 5 years of experience in a service/installation-related field in a management or leadership role, overseeing 20+ direct reports.

  • A degree in Business Management or a related field is preferred.

  • Highly proficient in both verbal and written communication.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, coupled with a proactive mindset.

  • Basic experience with computer operations and relevant software.

  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrates respect for others and earns trust and respect from subordinates, supervisors, and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of products, technical aspects, industry practices, and processes in relevant product areas.

  • Learn and implement the company's structured processes, completing all required training.

  • Oversee daily operations of the business, including installations, production, and office management.

  • Develop and execute growth strategies, including budget management and revenue enhancement.

  • Supervise the ongoing training of managers and staff.

  • Evaluate the performance and productivity of direct reports, while overseeing the effectiveness of indirect reports.

  • Ensure all employees maintain a high level of professionalism, addressing employee issues and customer needs promptly.

  • Engage with customers and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Possess basic computer skills, preferably with Google G-Suite.

  • Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
