Description We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a BI Engineer, you will be tasked with designing and developing complex BI solutions, migrating data from source systems into the Data Warehouse and Data Marts, and providing data analysis to stakeholders. This role operates in the industry of Business Intelligence technologies and requires a skill set that includes BusinessObjects Technologies, Cognos Business Intelligence, Database, EO/IR systems, Maps API, Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Intelligence Technologies, Business Requirement Document, Business Users, Microsoft SSRS, SSIS SSRS, T-SQL - Transact-SQL, and Microsoft Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test highly complex BI solutions on the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (SSRS, SQL Server Database, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI)

• Design, develop, and test high-quality Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) processes, programs, and scripts to migrate data from source systems into the Data Warehouse and Data Marts

• Extract complex data from multiple data sources into usable and meaningful reports and analyses by implementing stored procedures and SQL queries

• Provide data analysis to stakeholders on an as-needed basis

• Provide ongoing performance monitoring, tuning, and production support related to Data Warehouse, Data Mart, ETL, and BI Reporting environments

• Work in conjunction with business users to gather requirements to be used in developing dashboards, data visualizations, analytics, and other BI-related solutions

• Troubleshoot data integration and data quality issues and bugs, analyze reasons for failure, implement optimal solutions, and revise procedures and documentation as needed

• Develops and implements BI Standards and Best Practices Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer or in a similar role

• Proficiency in BusinessObjects Technologies and Cognos Business Intelligence is required

• Extensive knowledge of database management and EO/IR systems is essential

• Familiarity with Maps API and analytics is expected

• Expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Intelligence Technologies is necessary

• Ability to develop and maintain a Business Requirement Document

• Experience in working with Business Users and understanding their needs

• Proficiency in Microsoft SSRS and SSIS SSRS is required

• Knowledge of T-SQL - Transact-SQL is a must

• Expertise in Microsoft Power BI is necessary

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must have a proactive approach to identify and solve problems

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
