CROSSROAD CHURCH** Director of Maintenance

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Director of Maintenance who will take pride in ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and always ready for ministry activities. This role is more than just maintaining a building; it's about creating a space where people can connect, worship, and grow in their faith. Experience, Skills, Education Requirements

• Proficient in operating tools, cleaning equipment, and other machinery.
• Capable of repairing drywall, painting, and addressing routine maintenance issues.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks on time.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to relate effectively with church members and staff.
• Physically capable of lifting objects, climbing stairs and ladders, operating a lift, and performing other necessary tasks.

Major Responsibilities

• Adhere to provided daily and weekly cleaning checklists.
• Maintain organization in maintenance closets, storage areas, and equipment.
• Order, procure, and store janitorial supplies, maintenance supplies, and paper products.
• Be proficient with the security system, HVAC system, and fire system to assist service and emergency personnel if needed.
• Set up and take down tables and chairs for events, groups, etc.
• Remove trash from the building, particularly after events involving food.
• Assist with preschool maintenance issues as directed by the supervisor.
• Work Sunday mornings, Christmas Eve, and other church holidays as required.
