We're looking for someone who excels at coming up with creative solutions to technical issues. Robert Half is seeking a Help Desk Technician to accommodate field users in an ever-changing, active environment. We're looking for candidates with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making effective change within an organization for this Help Desk Analyst position. This Help Desk role is based in the Jacksonville, Florida area and is a short-term contract / temporary opportunity.

Your responsibilities

• Offer IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally

• Provide service on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups

• Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues

• Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the root of the problems

  Requirements

• Prior experience with IT support ticketing systems

• Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

• Firm grasp of basic networking concepts

• Knowledge of Windows 11

• Strong familiarity with Ticketing System

• MS Windows 10 experience

• Microsoft Outlook experience preferred

• Demonstrated excellence in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

• User administration and bug fixing in a client-server environment
