We are on the lookout for a Medical Data Entry Clerk to be a part of our team in Jacksonville, Flordia. The role is key to our operations, requiring the individual to manage a variety of tasks, including data entry, documentation, and customer service within the healthcare industry. This position offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate entry of medical data into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) and other EHR systems

• Use of IBM AS/400 and McKesson software for data management

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Overseeing billing functions and claim administration

• Providing top-tier customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues

• Ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date

• Management of Health Information (HIM) and Health Information Management systems

• Adherence to data privacy regulations and best practices in healthcare data management.

Requirements • Proficiency in using the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)

• Experience in working with EHR SYSTEM

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Proficiency in McKesson software

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Familiarity with Claim Administration processes

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Strong Documentation skills

• Knowledge of Health Information Management (HIM)

• Experience in Health Information Management systems

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• High school diploma or equivalent required, higher education or certifications in related fields preferred.
