REMOTE Loss Mitigation Underwriter

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM EST

Skills:

• 2+ years' Experience in mortgage loss mitigation underwriting.

• Must be familiar with mortgage documents.

• Must be familiar with financial documents.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers.

• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Description:

The Loss Mitigation Underwriter is responsible for the underwriting of loss mitigation options for all workout types on all loan types. This role requires maintaining and acquiring any necessary licensing requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure compliance with established timelines and quality decisions for each assigned file.

• Evaluate the financial status of borrowers and provide quality control for loan documents.

• Assess credit and risk.

• Assist in the disposition of documents process.

• Ensure accuracy of documentation and data entry modifications.
