Job Title – Office and Administrative Manager - Commercial

Location – Jacksonville, FL (on-site)

What You Will Do

  • Handles all aspects of tracking and managing indirect office costs. This includes ordering and inventorying office supplies, marketing material, etc.

  • Administers applications for field employment, new employee “sign-ups”, including the I-9 and E-Verify process, as well as basic personnel administration activities and general administration.

  • Responsible for purchasing of small items and verifying payments to vendors and

  • Responsible for planning company group functions and outings.

  • Implements and administers the local Affirmative Action policy.

  • Assist project teams with preparing Subcontracts and Purchase orders including issuance and tracking.

  • Responsible for assisting project teams with project closeout.

  • Ensures that all required employment notices are posted on the bulletin board at the job-site and Commercial Group Offices.

  • Work with project teams to prepare project proposals and pre-qualifications as well as bid packages.

  • Support division needs during bidding process with deliverables such as creating bid invitations, preparing document control log, and bid communication follow-up.

  • Assist project teams with controlled project start-up.

  • Responsible for assisting project teams with vendor insurance compliance.

  • Performs additional duties per supervisor’s direction.

  • Working Conditions – Full time; some light lifting may be required (50lbs), walking, standing, sitting, keyboarding, writing and reading. Work performed in a controlled indoor environment. Occasional travel.

Education / Experience - Minimum high school diploma/GED and five years experience in an accounting or administrative role required OR 3 years experience in an construction office setting.

While the salary range for this role is typically between $49,100 - $67,475 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process.
