What You Can Expect

Supports the full life cycle of the product portfolio, involved in setting overall marketing programs and strategic direction for the portfolio, which support and meet business and departmental goals and objectives. Responsible for cultivating strategy at the portfolio level. Will be working with the Thoracic segment of the business; leadership opportunity in an area of the business making organic and inorganic investments to continue to accelerate growth. This position will lead a team of 4 individuals to oversee our Pectus, Rib Trauma, and Cardiac segments.

This is a hybrid position and will require 3 days a week in our Jacksonville, FL office (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.)

How You'll Create Impact

  • Provide cohesion between segment strategies and portfolios strategies.

  • Ensures execution of key strategies for the portfolio.

  • Ensures teamwork and cohesion of our global product strategy.

  • Ensures communication of the global strategy with cross-functional partners.

  • Manage a team of product managers.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Supervise the marketing development effort to bring new products from concept through commercialization including market exit.

  • Check and validate business cases for new product developments to ensure they fit the segment strategy.

  • Interact closely with Marcom teams to define clear messaging for the portfolio.

  • Sponsor new clinical studies and organize support to other departments for specific projects.

  • Make sure all cross-functional efforts are aligned with the portfolio strategy.

  • Mentor Senior Product Managers in their strategic activities & provide them support for management

Your Background

  • B.A. /B.S. degree required, preferably including formal studies in business or engineering.

  • MBA preferred but not required.

  • Minimum nine (9) years of product management experience or sales experience required, preferably in healthcare.

  • Orthopedic experience is preferred.

  • Experience in both Sales and Commercial Marketing is preferred.
