Overview

We are looking for a Regional Human Resources Manager to join our team. This position will directly report to the AVP of HR Business Partners and is responsible for aligning HR practices in support of business objectives and serving as an HR consultant to field leaders on human resources-related issues. This role is responsible for assessing and anticipating people-related needs, communicating needs proactively within the HR team and leaders, and making recommendations to achieve strategic goals. The Regional Human Resources Manager formulates strategic partnerships that deliver value-added service to internal customers and associates that reflect Gentiva’s core values.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as partner and consultant to leadership teams to develop and coach people leaders in HR processes, functions, and initiativesto ensure positive and compliant associate relations practices.

  • Provide tactical and strategic support to managers on a variety of issues; promote compliance with laws, policies and best practices to ensure compliant, consistent interactions with associates.

  • Support new leaders to the organization by providing HR-related orientation, advises on orientation best practices to field partners.

  • Serve as a resource in handling, documenting, and bringing resolution to a variety of associate relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary action, while ensuring compliant and expeditious practices.

  • Review and analyze data (e.g. turnover, exit interviews) to identify trends, develop or utilize resources to deliver and drive improvements in associate retention, culture, talent management, learning and development, and other HR-related best practices.

  • Deliver training to internal customers on HR-related topics, including best practices, leadership principles, and other company initiatives.

  • Serve as subject matter expert in HR-related laws, company policies and procedures, providing support to associates at all levels

  • Implement HR programs that drive engagement and retention, including working with leaders to develop and execute action plans that address areas of need.

  • Monitor associate performance evaluation program and assures that associate performance reviews are conducted timely.

  • Serve as an ambassador on behalf of the One HR team, partnering on compliance and best practices in a variety of areas that may include onboarding, orientation, reporting, talent acquisition, total rewards, and HR policy and procedure.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or a minimum of ten years’ relevant experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in human resource business partner role, preferably in a healthcare setting

  • At least three years’ experience working for a multi-state employer

  • Strong HR knowledge and expert knowledge in Federal, State employment laws as well as industry regulations

  • Able to travel up to 10%
