We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk with experience in scheduling and dispatch operations to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the shipment of goods, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring that orders are dispatched in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $18 - $19 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Coordination: Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to customer orders and specifications.

  • Dispatch Operations: Coordinate the scheduling of outgoing shipments with dispatch teams, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

  • Documentation: Generate and verify shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, packing slips, and shipping labels.

  • Carrier Coordination: Liaise with transportation companies and dispatch carriers to arrange pickup times and ensure that shipments are delivered on time.

  • Scheduling: Maintain and update shipment schedules in the warehouse management system, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with relevant teams.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels and ensuring that all outbound orders are properly stocked and accounted for.

  • Order Accuracy: Verify shipment contents and match them with customer orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with order specifications.

  • Problem Resolution: Address any issues related to shipping delays, missing items, or damaged goods, working with other departments to resolve problems promptly.

  • Compliance: Ensure that all shipments comply with company policies and government regulations, including handling hazardous materials and international shipments when necessary.

  • Communication: Maintain open communication with the warehouse team, drivers, and customers to provide updates on shipments, delays, or scheduling changes.
