Program Summary

The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.

Job Summary

Join our team as a Production Planning Analyst and take charge of optimizing our production processes and logistics operations. In this role, you will plan and schedule production activities, develop and implement logistics plans, and ensure timely delivery of products. You’ll conduct distribution studies, monitor inventory, and create strategies to meet delivery times and order fill rates. Using Microsoft Project, you’ll establish and revise workflows for efficient maintenance cycles. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll oversee daily production activities, compare actual vs. planned schedules, and recommend improvements. Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production activities.

• Develop and implement logistics plans for production, distribution, and inventory.

• Conduct distribution studies, monitor inventory, and develop strategies for delivery times and order fill rates.

• Establish and revise workflows using Microsoft Project for efficient maintenance cycles.

• Analyze and validate requirements for future production cycles to create effective plans.

• Oversee daily production activities, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery.

• Compare actual vs. planned schedules, conduct research on discrepancies, and recommend improvements.

• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

• Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers.

• Provide activity and status reports to management and perform other assigned duties.

Basic Qualifications

MUST BE ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY AND ELIGIBLE FOR THE SKILLBRIDGE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field with no experience. In lieu of formal education, at least 8 years of progressive experience in a related field or 4 years of specialized military experience in the relative field can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.

• Must possess a certificate of training for Microsoft Project 2010 or greater.

• Ability to obtain a Favorable Government Public Trust Investigation.

• Ability to obtain and maintain Military Base Access.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in use standard commercial word processing, database, spreadsheet, and telecommunications software applications to include Microsoft Office.
