FT: Librarian I, Jamestown Prendergast Library in Jamestown, NY, is seeking a full-time librarian to join their team!

This full-time position involves providing library services to the public, including working at the librarys Circulation, Childrens and Reference Desks. Applicants should have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

This position will be heavily involved in the librarys collection, including selecting and processing new materials for adults, teens, and children. Additional collection work will include reviewing, evaluating, and updating the current collection.

Additional duties may include developing and implementing library programs and classes, working in the librarys Makerspace, conducting research for patrons, and creating promotional materials.

This is an entry-level librarian position. Recent or prospective MLS graduates are encouraged to apply.

Employment Details:
