This is an ONSITE, TEMPORARY to HIRE opportunity.

A growing educational company located near Jamison, PA, is looking to add a Purchasing Assistant candidate to their team. This candidate will be responsible in helping to assist the Procurement Team with increased workflows. You will have responsibilities such as processing POs and maintaining vendor relationships. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for anyone looking to get into the procurement field, as eventually, you will have an opportunity to take on more responsibilities down the road.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree, and while some procurement experience is preferred, it is not required. Instead, the company is looking for someone who is technically savvy, sharp, good communication, and can navigate through Excel (basic skills) as well as the company's procurement/financial/education software systems. Being sharp and able to navigate your way around a computer is the most important factor.

Responsibilities:

• Process Purchase Orders

• Maintain Vendor Relationships

• Other Tasks as Assigned by Management

• Good with computers and picking up new software

• University Degree preferred
