Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Assemblers to join our team in manufacturing ammunition for the military. This role involves hand assembly of small piece parts on an automated assembly line, following SOP instructions. You will rotate stations to ensure variety in your tasks and may also operate machines and pack products. We value candidates who can learn multiple departments and move around as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP instructions to perform various job responsibilities

• Hand assembly of small piece parts on an automated assembly line

• Assemble using fixtures and/or automated equipment

• Rotate stations due to the repetitive nature of the work

• Operate machines and pack products as needed

Essential Skills

• Good hand/eye coordination

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30lbs

• Experience with hand tools, blueprints, packaging, power tools, mechanical assembly, machine operation, picking, packing, and production line

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt to multiple departments

• Previous experience preferred but not required; training will be provided

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with small parts

• Capability to sit down for the majority of the day

Work Environment

Work hours are from 6am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays. The facility is climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment. Pay starts at 18/hr

This is a position based out of Janesville, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50
