Job Title: 2nd Shift - Assembler

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as 2nd Shift Assemblers. Our company manufactures ammunition for the military, and we need skilled assemblers to support our production line. This role involves hand assembly of small piece parts using fixtures and automated equipment, with opportunities to operate machines and work in multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP instructions to perform numerous job responsibilities.

• Hand assemble small piece parts on an automated assembly line.

• Assemble using fixtures and/or automated equipment.

• Rotate stations to maintain variety and prevent monotony.

• Operate machines and handle packaging tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• General labor

• Assembly

• Good hand/eye coordination for working with extremely small parts

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs

• Experience with hand tools, blueprints, packaging, power tools, mechanical assembly, machine operation, picking, packing, and production line

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in similar roles is beneficial but not required as training will be provided.

• Ability to consistently show up and perform repetitive tasks with small parts.

• Comfortable sitting down for the majority of the workday.

Work Environment

2nd shift: 4pm-2am (Mon-Thur) with a $1.50 shift premium. Base pay of $17/hr. Overtime is available on Fridays but is not common. The work environment is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable setting for all employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50
