JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and regulatory reporting. Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to work overtime during peak periods Responsibilities Prepares and reviews journal entries and financial statements. Prepares financial reviews and reconciliations, using both standard and ad hoc reporting tools to analyze source data. Perform accounting and accounting balancing for basic level accounting issues. Prepare audit workpapers. Works with other departmental staff and departmental managers to prepare budget for multiple entities and responds to questions from managers. Complete regulatory reporting for areas assigned. Analyzes financial processes and opportunities to improve system financial performance. Completes special projects/pro forma financial analyses as assigned. Education and Experience BA in Accounting. Associates in Accounting or Bachelor\'s in related field will be considered, with five years relative experience, two of which have been in healthcare. Certification/Licensure CPA designation a plus, but not required Special Physical Demands The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
