JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARY: Oversee the development, implementation, and sustainment of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality while driving cost efficiency through continuous process improvement and lean manufacturing principles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. 1. Develop and implement Lean manufacturing processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profit. 2. Monitor and analyze production processes for performance, efficiency, and reject rates, and implement strategies to improve quality and productivity. 3. Maintain and improve departmental standards, procedures, and templates, providing training and mentorship to direct reports 4. Lead the manufacturing engineering team to successfully execute continuous improvement projects within budgeted cost and schedule. 5. Provide leadership to the manufacturing teams on product launch activities. 6. Provide guidance during the creation of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for assigned programs. 7. Provide guidance in line set-up including layout, flow, equipment, storage, etc. 8. Ensure successful execution of Build Readiness Reviews (BRR\'s), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR\'s) and Production Readiness Reviews (PRR\'s). 9. Support resolution of technical issues, and report on all current technical issues and status during weekly meetings and / or management reviews. 10. Provide leadership during Failure Analysis efforts related to production issues, performance issues, and critical characteristics. 11. Participate in risk assessment for production operations. 12. Support customer technical requests and questions; provide resultant effects to production processes and performance. 13. Support / assist Quality and Purchasing in resolution of supplier issues. 14. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. 15. Perform all other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has direct supervisory responsibilities. Due to the nature of the work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required.
