Generac Power Systems Inventory Control - 1st Shift in Janesville, Wisconsin

Responsibilities

Inventory Control Specialist I

Learn to operate and become proficient in driving power equipment.

Look up products in the warehouse and identify missing inventory.

Help to research where missing inventory could be located and work to correct errors in the system.

Works on making system adjustments and performs cycle counts daily.

Inventory Control Specialist II

All ICS I responsibilities.

Monitor inventory changes daily using the inventory or warehouse management system.

Use a barcode scanner, computer and/or radio frequency (RF) tool to enter and adjust items into inventory database.

Research and correct inventory errors.

Audit warehouse locations and correct defects in records.

Inventory Control Specialist III

All ICS I & II responsibilities.

Work on planning and communicating daily plans to the team.

Ability to work in multiple areas of the warehouse or plant.

Set up and control master data.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

2 years of experience in a manufacturing or comparable work environment where duties include inventory control.

Ability to lead projects with a small team.

Good problem solving/analyzing skills.

Ability to fill in for the Lead when necessary.

Willingness to assist other teams onsite and remotely.

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
