Description

Purpose: The Provider Relations Manager is focused on building and maintaining positive relationships with healthcare provider clients through a thorough understanding of software and service products provided by company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a subject matter expert for provider services operations, implementations, and customer support activities.

  • Provides day-to-day support to assigned provider clients and internal departments.

  • Has a detailed understanding of the company products and processes performed for assigned client projects.

  • Conducts virtual demonstrations of company software for client education, new feature releases, and sales support purposes.

  • Maintain and facilitate lines of communication between clients and internal departments:

  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner as per departmental guidelines.

  • Facilitate investigation of issues relating to client applications to find origin of problem, determine appropriate course of action, and implement steps necessary to correct.

  • Hold regular meetings with clients and maintain supporting documentation as per departmental guidelines including but not limited to decision logs and meeting notes.

  • Acts as a client advocate with a focus on improving the customer experience.

  • Provides guidance on direction and prioritization with technical teams and operations of issues, requests and activities voiced by the clients.

  • Understanding of provider EMR and Practice Management systems and their use to facilitate care.

  • Understanding of medical retrieval services.

  • Keep manager aware of project statuses and follow established escalation procedures.

  • Required to attend mandatory meetings and trainings, work scheduled overtime with minimal notice, and perform other duties as assigned per business needs.

Qualification Requirements –

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Able to read, write and speak English.

  • Successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances.

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of related experience as a Client Services Manager; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Capable of applying knowledge to handle all complex problems independently.

  • Able to prioritize competing tasks and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Anticipates change and directs or redirects efforts.

  • Proven track-record in dealing with highly professional individuals.

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, technical and presentation skills.

  • Ability to think critically and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to influence change and build and maintain meaningful working relationships.

  • Partner with others to achieve results that leverage the right resources.

  • Ability to travel for company meetings and client visits as required.
