COMPUTER SERVICE PROFESSIONALS, INC. Computer Operator II Part Time (Remote) in JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri

SUMMARY Under moderate supervision, utilizing established programs and procedures. Monitors computer and peripheral equipment and researches error messages.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintains necessary operating records, check lists, and procedures to ensure accuracy and completion of functions. Utilizes scripted instructions to perform routine processing functions to meet deadlines or standards. Provides support to customers and internal users in a courteous and professional manner. Monitors the console and other online systems. Responds with appropriate actions and escalation. Follows established guidelines to ensure security of data and computer systems. Completes the shift turnover log for the next shift; and reviews the shift turnover log from the previous shift. Contacts the Operations Unit Manager for assistance as needed. Manages a Windows Server environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related field; or An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Works on generally routine assignments, occasionally deviating from defined procedures. Able to type accurately and efficiently. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

WORKING CONDITIONS Typical office setting with environmentally controlled conditions. Able to work extended hours as business needs dictate. Weekend or shift work may be required.
