Company is in search of a Maintenance Planner within the Jefferson City Missouri area. This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team to fill a crucial role within the Maintenance department. You will be working closely with the Maintenance Manager and Operations team to plan/schedule routine shutdown & outage maintenance tasks for plant and building equipment. We are searching for eager candidates with 5 years proven Maintenance Planner experience. Candidates will need Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Technology, or other relevant education. This experience includes a heavy focus on the planning of scheduled shutdowns. Candidates must have proven experience with CMS & Work Order Control. responsibilities:
Assess equipment needs prior to scheduled shutdowns and develop a plan accordingly.
Gantt chart development for scheduled work timelines
Schedule internal and external labor to meet the required work to be completed
Assign, distribute, and collect completed work orders from internal and external labor for shutdowns
Follow up with work that is completed and identify the duration the work took to be completed
Provide support to internal and external labor during scheduled shutdowns
Ensure H&S compliance with all organized work
Generate and distribute work orders for routine maintenance activities
Input relevant information into CMMS
Analyze and communicate work order progress/status to stakeholders
Generate reports for maintenance KPI's
Plan and schedule all the following PM's for the facility (HVAC, Lighting, Compressors, Air Dryers & Boilers).
Coordinate spare parts inventory
Coordinate scheduled parts for routine maintenance with stores room
Creation and maintenance of critical work instructions and associated checklists for the department
Support H&S Program for all work coordinated.
Initiate the purchasing process for maintenance department
Enter requisitions into M3 for labor or parts prior to any work being completed.
Monitor project work and ensure purchase requisitions are inputted to ensure accurate capture of maintenance spend for budgeting purposes
