Amatrol, Inc. Mechanical Assembly Technician II in Jeffersonville, Indiana

Earn a $500 signing bonus paid out as $250 after your first 3 full months of working with us and another $250 after your first 6 months!

What will you be doing?

  • Assemble equipment, and then test it yourself for proper function.
  • Inspect product for defects (scratches, dents, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot problems and resolve them.
  • Apply expert assembly techniques - have your work be model for others.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment at your workstation.
  • Work safely in an organized manner.

What do you need to be considered for the job?

  • 4+ years of assembly or equivalent mechanical experience.
  • Natural ability to tinker and fix things.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Understand and apply hand and power tools appropriately.
  • Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, tube benders, etc.)
  • Adapt well to change.
  • A can-do attitude - show the ability to solve problems and learn new skills.
  • Dependable- arrive at 6am and be ready for the day.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 40 hour work week (6 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday)
  • Optional overtime Saturdays 6 AM - 10 AM (for those that want it!)
