Citigroup Apps Dev Tech Sr Lead Analyst - C14 in Jersey City, New Jersey

Summary/Responsibilities:
Lead a team of data quality analysts and ensure all data quality issues are addressed on time.
Develop and articulate the organization's data governance vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Defining and operating data governance policies.
Implementing the data governance program vision
Identifying and mitigating data quality issues
Creating and enforcing data retention policies
Manage data security and privacy controls
Define KPIs, thresholds, prioritization by collaborating with different stakeholders for data quality dimensions (e.g., accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness)
Assist in the definition of governance structure, policies, processes, and metrics to improve and maintain the quality and ownership of data.
Data quality subject matter expert (SME), providing quality monitoring and audit support.
Establish clear ownership and accountability for data analytics at an individual level supported by a clearly defined forum for ongoing governance.
Drive the Data Quality Issues root case analysis through using a framework and identification of the SMEs in the many different functions to drive firmwide strategic solutions and timely remediation.
Report key data quality metrics to stakeholders.
Makes system control and solution recommendations to increase efficiencies and streamline data management processes.
Lead the effort to create a DQ continuous improvement culture.
Work closely with Production support and other support teams to remediate production issues.
Provide evidence and participate in all internal audit assessments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
8+ years of relevant experience in software technology
8+ years experience in implementing projects
5+ years experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications-what technology?
Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development-what tech?
8+ years experience with Data Governance
7+ years experience in Data governance / Data Controls Management
Strong understanding of data quality dimensions and different banking products
Good understanding of trade life cycle and various data concepts
Strong understanding of various data controls like Reconciliations, Inline data quality checks, SLA monitoring etc
Demonstrated ability and passion for building successfully organizations.
Demonstrated success taking an organization though a period of change and growth simultaneously.
Successful experience managing and scaling a geographically dispersed organization, driving the execution of processes and programs through the delivery organization.
Initiates project evaluation effectiveness post‐implementation
Coaches Employees to ensure activities are undertaken and completed.
Coordinates the sharing of information, skills, and knowledge among Employees.
Ensures compliance to policies and procedures.
Desired Skills
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or the Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP) preferred
Working knowledge of Python, Machine learning to develop insights preferred
Knowledge of client facing applications; strong analytical and presentation skills
Client-focused and able to build working relationships.
Experience in handling infrastructure builds.
Experience with JIRA tool and other workflow tools, Incident and issue management tools
Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them.
Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
Be passionate about Data quality management. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
