Job Title: Warehouse Shipping Clerk

Job Description

The Warehouse Shipping Clerk works in the warehouse to fulfill orders with other shipping coordinators and maintain product inventory levels. You will review invoices, retrieve and package products, and place labels on outgoing packages. This position requires strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel, and a background in warehouse or shipping operations. The role is based in the shipping office located in our warehouse and requires weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders and maintain product inventory levels.

• Review invoices and retrieve products.

• Package products and place labels on outgoing packages.

• Work closely with other Shipping Clerks in the warehouse.

• Utilize strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Use phone skills to deal with people and multitask efficiently.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of shipping experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Strong computer skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Experience working in a large team and fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Warehouse or shipping background.

• WMS experience is a plus.

• Strong phone skills.

• RF Scanning experience.

Work Environment

Temperature-controlled indoor facility with temperatures ranging from 35 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Concrete flooring. Requires wearing layers, hats, gloves to stay warm. Fast-paced environment. No certifications, steel toe boots required, no specific licensing or medical requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of JESSUP, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
