How You'll Shape the Future of the Administrative Department:

  • Plans, prepares and administers local contributions and advertising under the guidance of the General Manager and HR Manager of the Jesup Mill.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. marketing) and maintain open communication with senior management

  • Edit and update promotional material and publications and prepare and distribution company memos and announcement locally.

  • Prepare and distribute company memos and announcements locally

  • Organize PR events (e.g. open days, press conferences) and serve as the company’s spokesperson.

  • Administers mill goals, metric system, housekeeping program and prepares weekly/monthly reports including the Business Unit Measurement Report and PFLT Meeting preparation.

  • Leads, plans and executes a variety of facility functions for example the annual Service Award/Holiday Party, external visitor tours and the Annual Retirement Celebration.

  • Serves as the central communications point for daily and ad-hoc mill-wide operational summaries and reports

  • Processes requisitions for purchases and blanket orders. Manages p-cards, including verification and approvals for payment, for the department. Purchases office supplies, operating supplies and small tools/equipment.

  • Handle scheduling of appointments as needed, maintaining calendar, handling correspondence, booking travel, assisting with special programs/projects, etc.

  • Manage Jesup mill administration budget monthly and annually. Provide input to Corporate Community Relations budget process as it pertains to Jesup Plant needs. Coordinate consolidation of annual department budget.

  • Oversee Records Management Program to include effectively and appropriately manage company records, record management issues as well as practical and strategic activities. Assist administrative staff with records management needs and provide alternative record services as required.

You'll Be Someone Who Can Bring:

  • BS Degree in Business or related field and/or 10 years relevant work experience in an office manager or senior administrative role.

  • Knowledge required - Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, advanced word processing skills, IBM Notes, advanced administrative skills required; excellent grammar and spelling are required. Flexibility and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects required. Accuracy in work is critical. Initiative and anticipation of needs is a requirement.
