Chemours is seeking a Mining Engineer Intern to join our Mi nerals Enterprise team! This position will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Location: Jesup, Georgia

Hours: Full-time or part-time schedule, flexible to candidate needs

Term : 3-month assignment between May-August 2025 ( i.e. 3-month assignment between May-August)

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Working with experienced engineering professionals on mining, geological and operational improvement projects.

• Rotating through functional minerals departments to gain exposure and understanding of the complexity of all aspects of heavy mineral sandmining industry.

• Involvement in all aspect of mine planning andcommunicating to stakeholders at all levels of the organization via presentations, documents, and face to face presentation.

• Participating in MSHA focused safety management activities andclose collaboration with Operations teams.

T he following is required for this role :

• Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Junior or above at time of assignment

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering,or similar fields

• Familiarity with ArcView, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

The following is preferred for this role :

• 3.0 GPA or above

• Technical Experience Preferred

• Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom
