Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer Lead. This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day networking tasks, ensuring network reliability, troubleshooting issues, managing network architecture, and leading technology upgrades across various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily networking tasks to ensure a stable and available network environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network issues.
Manage firewall security configurations and network access.
Lead network expansion and upgrade projects, including installation and testing.
Oversee networking architecture in data centers and remote locations.
Manage SLAs and collaborate with vendors for planning and solutions.
Monitor and schedule system/firmware updates.
Act as the main point of contact for leadership to resolve technical problems.
Identify unresolved issues and escalate as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.
4+ years of Cisco troubleshooting experience.
Cisco-related certifications (CCNP or higher, CCIE highly preferred).
Strong understanding of networking technologies (Cisco ACI, Firewalls, SDWAN, BGP/OSPF).
Experience with datacenter environments, security protocols, and network management.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Azure Networking and Automation/Orchestration (Ansible, Python).
Experience with SDWAN and Load Balancing technologies.
