Clinical Information Analyst Quality Programs, UHS Eckelberger Towers United Health Services is seeking a Clinical Information Analyst Quality Programs to join our BGH Federal Quality Programs department at UHS Eckelberger Towers in Johnson City, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$25.12 - $35.87 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

The Information Analyst Federal Quality Programs is an analyst supporting one or more applications or systems and serves as a subject matter expert on the workflows, content and functionality of the applications assigned to them for support and supports the abstractor team.

We are looking for candidates with experience in:

  • Collection of clinical data

  • Core measure abstraction

  • IQR and OQR CMS/The Joint Commission submission

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • High School Diploma and four (4) years of healthcare operations (clinical, patient care, administrative or revenue cycle), information technology or health information technology experience

  • Knowledge of clinical registries, databases, as well as the organizational impact for registry/database measures used in external reporting environment.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (information technology or clinical/healthcare fields) preferred.

  • Epic experience

    License/Certification

Preferred:

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification or equivalent certification
