Corteva Agriscience Data and Reporting Analyst Intern in Johnston, Iowa

Description

Are you seeking a new and challenging opportunity to further enhance your career? Corteva Agriscience Research & Development currently has an opportunity for a Data and Reporting Analyst Intern. This position creates value for the R&D organization by leading cross-functional projects, programs, and teams to generate sustainable improvements in research productivity and decision-making. The Data and Reporting Analyst Intern partners with resources embedded across Corteva and within the R&D organization to create communities of practice and establish a culture of operational excellence.

What You'll Gain:

  • Collaborative Environment: Work with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.

  • Process Improvement: Partner with subject matter experts to document current business processes and identify areas for improvement.

  • Innovative Solutions: Design and propose process improvements, including workflow diagrams and standard operating procedures, ensuring alignment with end-user requirements.

  • Tech Development: Develop low-code business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Data Visualization: Create and maintain Power BI reports to visualize and communicate data insights to stakeholders.

  • Implementation Support: Participate in the implementation of new procedures and tools, including training, documentation, demonstrations, and end-user support.

Qualifications

Qualifications - What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.

  • Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Candidates must be enrolled in classes the semester following their internship with Corteva.

  • Must be able to relocate to Johnston, IA for the duration of the internship.

  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 10-12 weeks during the timeframe of internship (typically May to August).

  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Power Platform applications. Including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI

  • Proficiency in common Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships

  • Strong bias for action and demonstrated owner's mindset

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels

  • Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change

  • Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
