Corteva Agriscience Global Seed Operations Continuous Improvement Intern in Johnston, Iowa

Description

Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity to join our Professional Internship Program as a Continuous Improvement Intern for the summer of 2025. This position is part of the Global Continuous Improvement Teamwithin Global Seed Operations.

Our Internship Program is designed for individuals interested in developing their careers within a dynamic, innovative, and globally recognized organization. While an interest or aptitude in the agricultural industry is a plus, it is not required. Positions are based at our Global Business Center in Johnston, Iowa. Interns typically manage 2-3 projects based on current business needs, which can be completed over the summer.

As a Continuous Improvement Intern, you will assist in identifying and implementing process improvements across the organization. You will collaborate with our Global Continuous Improvement team to support various projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, supporting initiative owners, and improving overall performance. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in process optimization, data analysis, and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.

  • Support the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.

  • Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of improvements.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

  • Prepare Power BI reports, presentations, and progress updates on project outcomes.

  • Drive project management hygiene across regions.

  • Document procedures and maintain records related to process improvements.

Qualifications

Requirements: What You Will Have!

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.

  • Availability to work from May through August 2025 in Johnston, IA.
