Corteva Agriscience Innovation Management Intern in Johnston, Iowa

Corteva Agriscience is seeking motivated individuals for an internship position within the Innovation Management Operations team. As a member of this team, you will become skilled in the guiding principles of Innovation Management and Corteva's operating model. You will have opportunities to engage across the organization as part of cross-functional teams, lead multi-disciplinary projects, and contribute to the success of the planning process across R&D, Finance and Commercial.

What You'll Do:

  • Innovative Problem Solving

  • Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives in systems & process that support Innovation Management.

  • Manage completion of critical tasks associated with resource planning: timelines, milestones, data inputs, and communication.

  • Collaboration & Learning

  • Develop an understanding of the strategy, structure, and program scope to serve stakeholders across R&D, and the Seed & CP Portfolio teams as trusted source of information.

  • Provide program and project support for cross-functional teams. (e.g. dashboards, project plans, resource needs, critical path analysis)

  • Partner with IM Planning & Analysis Managers to ensure system resource integrity and quality master data

  • Professional Development

  • Present project overview to R&D Leaders, gaining exposure across subfunctions while building technical & soft skills.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate program with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Business, Finance, Agriculture, Management, Data Science, or related disciplines.

  • Proficiency in common Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.

  • Proficiency in use of reporting and visualization software such as Power BI and Tableau.

  • Availability to work from May through August 2025 in Johnston, IA or Indianapolis, IN.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships.

  • Strong bias for action and demonstrated owner's mindset.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels.

  • Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change.

  • Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
