Spherion is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with vertical milling experience to join our Johnstown team. 

The CNC candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, take pride in their work, have outstanding problem-solving skills and work in a fast paced environment.

*The role for this position is to program and operate mills and lathes to produce precision metal to perform the right operations. *

• Experience of 3 to 5 years is required. 
• This is a temp to hire position, pay will be weekly through Spherion
• Resume with CNC qualifications and years of experience listed is required for consideration. 
• This is a second shift schedule. 

Skills and Duties:

• Prep and operate CNC machines to perform milling, grinding, etc.
• Translate instructions into computer commands to perform the correct function
• Load raw materials into machines
• Check and maintain machinery 
• Experience as a CNC operator
• Must have at least 5 years or more experience as a CNC Machinist
• Experience with vertical milling operations
• Be able to read and understand blueprints 
• Completion of apprenticeship is required.
