Army Installation Management Command Laborer NA-03 in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington

Summary The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force. This position is located within the Outdoor Recreation Division. Responsibilities Performs heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more. Operates heavy powered equipment performing tasks such as ground maintenance on grades and slopes, digging ditches and trenches, washing buildings using high pressure sprayers, operating tillers to prepare lawns for sod and bedding plants, etc. Breaks up concrete, mixes and pours concrete and asphalt. Resets nails, replaces hardware, relocate playgrounds, flowerbeds and portable structures. Performs general maintenance of NAF facilities requiring use of heavy powered equipment and heavy tools. Advises facility director of potential safety hazards and identifies repairs required. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1. Six (6) month of laboring experience required. 2. Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
