Position Summary:

The Administrative Analyst is responsible for conducting special research studies, analyzing data, preparing statistics, making recommendations based on research findings, and monitoring and coordinating project/program activities. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institution policy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • · The Director of Creative Media will help plan, create and implement content for the men’s basketball program to help create the design of branding, advertising, promotional and marketing materials across a variety of mediums, including print, broadcast, digital media, social media and web.

  • · Manages men’s basketball creative video, graphic design and brand and serves as the lead creative content provider for men’s basketball multimedia production efforts, including a strong emphasis on videography.

  • · Helps A-State men’s basketball use its social media channels to tell the stories of its team, coaches and student-athletes.

  • · Oversees men’s basketball official social media channels during home and road events and creates content in real-time.

  • · Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of the organization and administration of various higher education academic and social programs

Knowledge of campus and community resources

Knowledge of state, federal, and campus rules, regulations, and requirements related to campus academic and social programs

Ability to coordinate the activities of campus academic and/or social programs

Ability to evaluate collected information and formulate into recommendations

Ability to compile information into report form

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:

Formal education equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in graphic design or a related field.

Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Premiere) and production programs.

Necessary skills include, but are not limited to, videography, video editing, creative content creation, content marketing, branding and knowledge of current social and digital media trends.
