Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Controls Engineers at three levels: I, II, III to join our dynamic team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our conveyors. You will work closely with other engineering disciplines, production teams, and external vendors, and customers to ensure our systems are efficient, dependable, and meet all quality standards. Our ideal candidates are critical thinkers with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. All Controls Engineers will travel to customer sites and be on the road at least 40% of the time.

*Controls Engineer I - *The Controls Engineer I develops and configures control packages using Programmable Logic Controllers and other devices for conveyors being sold.

Responsibilities

• PLC programming - understand and troubleshoot software packages to control specific conveyor equipment or entire systems
• Assist CE I and CE II in design electrical panel containing electrical hardware to support the control package and provide needed assistance to person building the electrical panel
• Travel to job sites to configure control package for specific customers\' requirements with focus on I/O checks and electrical wiring/hardware troubleshooting
• Work with applications group and customers to understanding actual requirements in order to quote and supply controls package to meet specific job requirements
• Provide electrical and controls support for conveyor lab equipment used for show or testing
• Provide 24/7 on call support based on implementation schedule
• Assist WeCare with electrical support questions
